Duffy – Rockferry

This 24  year old Welsh girl has got a huge voice and a huge talent. Her real name is Aimee, which has earned her comparisons to that other Amy — Winehouse. The comparisons don’t end there, because they’re both examples of the new British soul movement, and Duffy’s debut Rockferry album scored her a major hit with Mercy.

Panic at the Disco – Pretty.Odd

Las Vegas rockers Panic at the Disco have claimed they want to be the new Radiohead. Whether they’re there yet is up to Radiohead fans to decide, but for now they’ll have to prove themselves with a tour that begins this month. The band is supporting a new album that debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. chart and spawned hits That Green Gentleman and Mad as Rabbits.
